Security with Admiral
Admiral prevents theft and fraud before it starts — immobilizing unauthorized trailers, locking cargo from inside the trailer with a virtual seal, and enforcing shipper rules automatically.
Take the First Step Toward Safer, Smarter Shipping
By using midpoint pricing — where you set your max, the carrier sets their min,
and we meet in the middle — you avoid broker markups and save up to 20% per load.
Our Admiral system locks cargo with virtual seals, enforces your rules automatically,
and immobilizes trailers unless movement is authorized.
A virtual seal is a unique number generated and stored in the lock itself. The lock cannot be opened until the seal is virtually "broken" by a person designated by the shipper — such as the shipper, carrier, or consignee.
Most theft happens because load boards are public. Anyone can see what’s moving, when, and where — and bad actors can impersonate carriers to pick up freight they were never assigned. Even with better documents and passwords, the underlying system still leaks the key details thieves need.
Level5Freight solves this by replacing public listings with private, secure matching:
Loads are never publicly posted.
Only the matched shipper and carrier can see the details.
All communication happens within the platform — no spoofable emails or calls.
One-click booking replaces long back-and-forth negotiations.
This makes it practically impossible for someone to impersonate a carrier and steal a load.
Our Admiral security system immobilizes trailers unless movement is authorized.
This prevents anyone — even someone with the right truck — from hauling your trailer without your permission.
The lock is installed inside the trailer’s cargo area, hidden from outside view, making tampering far more difficult.
It can’t be opened without breaking the virtual seal.
A virtual seal is a unique number generated and stored inside the lock itself.
It can only be “broken” by someone the shipper designates — whether that’s the shipper, carrier, or consignee.
Until it’s broken, the lock stays closed. Every seal break is recorded, ensuring a clear chain of custody.
