How It Works
The Hub provides the onboard intelligence for Admiral. Mounted on the asset, it understands where the asset is and what it is doing, applies authorization rules, and coordinates the Lock and Immobilizer. It communicates locally with Admiral devices and users, and connects to transportation systems over cellular or Wi-Fi when available. Up to 12 months of battery life keeps the asset protected through extended periods without tractor power. It recharges from a solar panel, or can be wired into the trailer to charge whenever a tractor is connected. The rules it applies are set in the Admiral Console.

Verify the Situation
GPS, motion and vibration sensing tell the Hub where the asset is and what it is doing, so authorization is checked against real conditions.
Enforce the Authorization
When authorized, the Hub commands the Lock or Immobilizer to permit the physical action. When authorization is absent, it prevents it.
Prove the Outcome
The Hub reports physical events and asset state back to Admiral, leaving a record of what was permitted and what actually happened.
Solutions
Rules Travel With the Asset
Authorization can depend on location, time, movement, tractor connection and other conditions the Hub can verify itself. Rules are created in advance, sent to the Hub and carried with the asset.
Conditions Are Re-evaluated Continuously
The Hub keeps checking those conditions. If the conditions that permitted an action change, the asset can withdraw that authorization.
No Network Needed for Routine Work
Because rules are evaluated on the asset, routine operations continue normally without a live network connection or a cloud decision for every action.
Updates and Reporting When Connected
When cellular or Wi-Fi connectivity is available, the Hub receives updated rules and reports physical events and asset state back to Admiral.
